Omg, Pitt is beautiful.

Like, I can’t even. The area is beautiful, the architecture is beautiful, the people are friendly. Of all the campuses I’ve visited so far, Pitt is the only one I immediately liked and had a good vibe about. Yeah, there were a few “eh” moments during the campus tour, but seriously, c’mon. Being the pickiest person ever, it’s a sign that I’m overlooking these “eh” moments. The only bad thing about Pitt is the distance. It’s drivable, but that’s 6 brutal hours. But anyways, it’s official, Andrea’s going to be a Panther.

Every time I watch Jurassic Park

it just makes me what to be a paleontologist. That’s my dream. If I lived during the early half or mid-20th century, that would be my life. Nevermind the sexism and discrimination that came with certain jobs, I wouldn’t stop digging up dinosaurs and discovering ancient specimens for anything. But unfortunately, in the time I live in it’s impractical. Are there more ancient bones to dig up? Is technology taking over the personal satisfaction of digging up dinosaurs? Sometimes I wonder if I should follow my dream, or if I should be practical and be something that would benefit this time of need.
